The HYDROTRANSPORT Conference Series

The International HYDROTRANSPORT Conference series is unique in its long-standing history of bringing together operators, designers and researchers to discuss important themes related to the transport and handling of solid-liquid mixtures.

Since 1970, the conference series has been the showcase for many innovations in the application of hydrotransport technology. HYDROTRANSPORT 2027 will focus on many important applications, including:

  • Slurry pump and pipeline systems design, instrumentation, measurement, control, operation and / or troubleshooting;
  • Water usage, and environmental implications of mining, mineral processing, oil and gas production and pipeline integrity;
  • Development and testing of new materials and designs that provide improved resistance to wear and / or corrosion;
  • The use of alternative sources of energy to supplant, or at least complement, the use of hydrocarbon resources;
  • Advancing and deploying powerful computational models; and
  • Emerging, unique or innovative slurry related technologies.

Call for Abstracts

If you are interested in presenting your work at the Conference, please submit an abstract to;

abstracts@iha-hydrotransport-conference.com

The options are:

  • Oral presentation with a conference paper;
  • Oral presentation alone (no paper);
  • Poster presentation.

We are looking for abstracts that are approximately 250 words in length. The deadline for abstract submission is Oct 15, 2026. Authors will be notified about their abstract’s acceptance no later than Dec 1, 2026.
